Giving Tuesday is just one week away!!!! Why cho Giving Tuesday is just one week away!!!! Why choose TBEY Arts Center for your #givingtuesday contribution recipient? We can sum it up in three words, “Art Saves Lives” Studies show that youth, especially youth from inner city and underserved neighborhoods that are exposed to the arts develop even higher degrees of social and emotional skills like empathy, teamwork, and self-expression. They also are less likely to engage in delinquent or violent behavior which directly correlates to reductions in the crime rate in the areas they live. Last but certainly not least, arts education can positively impact academic performance, graduation rates, and attendance in post-secondary education. TBEY is coming upon our 25th year of serving Milwaukee’s youth. Your donation helps us to keep offering free and low cost art education and programming to youth that may not have this opportunity at their schools or anywhere else. Art saves lives!
